functions, the Leica DM LA microscope addresses two key
requirements of modern routine microscopy:

processes
- User-friendliness through
flexible layout of all controls
All important microscope functions
are motorized and coordinated to work together smoothly by
microprocessor control: The motorized sextuple objective nosepiece
and the motorized aperture diaphragm ensure swift and accurate
objective change and an optimal illumination setting. Specimen
adjustment in x/y direction and focusing with the specimen stage
are step motor-controlled and adapted in speed to the particular
magnification.
