The Leica CV5000 is capable of
high-throughput coverslipping of several hundred slides per hour
using standard microscope slides and glass coverslips. It is easy
to operate due to simple loading / unloading and push-button
operation. A fume control system incorporating an activated carbon
filter is located in front of the instrument to protect the user
form health hazardous fumes. Both in design and accessories the
LEICA CV5000 is compatible with the routine slide stainer LEICA
AutoStainer XL Thus it may be used as a stand-alone unit or in
combination with the LEICA AutoStainer XL as an integrated
staining/coverslipping station.
